What is FeNO?

FeNO stands for “fractional exhaled nitric oxide”, and is a standardized breath sample obtained from the bronchi. The NO that thus becomes measurable is used as a biomarker for the diagnosis and follow-up of bronchial asthma.

What does ppb stand for?
